Today we discussed how long it will take companies to integrate LLMs. We came to the conclusion that it will take about one to two years.

Most of the time will go into defining the boundaries of where LLMs actually make sense, finding suitable use cases, developing best practices, and collecting data in the required format.

It’s likely that companies offering help with integration are already appearing on the market (or have already appeared). They should bring their expertise in application areas, technological constraints, and integration experience. And while the overall level of expertise in the market is still low, their services will be in demand. On top of that, they’ll be shaking up business processes, which should further improve efficiency.

As an industry, we’re still at the stage of rolling out basic tools to speed up employees’ work. If you compare it to the adoption of electricity, we’re still replacing gas lamps in the workshop with light bulbs. But electric machines will come soon. That’s when the really interesting stuff starts.

And there will definitely be some trendy term, like AIlization / AI transformation / AI company. Can’t do without it 😉
