LLM Underestimate
It seems programmers greatly underestimate what is happening right now. Today it’s just a regex, but in a year, or even less, it will already be a microservice. I’m talking about how previously we almost never encountered situations where the code we used was written by goodness knows who. You could only bring in freelancers here, but they usually weren’t allowed into critical areas. Now, business itself will push you to have more and more LLM-written code. And our quality for a large (and for some, the largest) part of the code is guaranteed not by automated means, but by faith in programmers or a group of people manually clicking through forms on stage servers.
