Dynamic Resource Allocation and the Future of HAMi

Kubernetes v1.35 introduces Dynamic Resource Allocation (DRA) to standardize fractional device management, but it does not fully replace HAMi. While DRA successfully absorbs the scheduling and encoding of fractional GPU resources, developers still rely on HAMi for granular container-level enforcement via specialized hardware constraints.
