Maybe it was like this before, but Codex CLI bypasses website protection through the r.jina.ai service. Including search engines. Including Google. Usually such SaaS services cost money, and for Google not small amounts. But here it’s an attraction of unprecedented generosity, without any authorization and with decent limits. Apparently, the mention of the service got into the training sample. Interesting how much it cost the service itself.
